Meet The Calligrapher

Welcome! I’m Ariane Padgett, founder of Pen & Script Calligraphy. I am a New York native based out of Atlanta, Georgia. My love for calligraphy started as a fascination with script in elementary school (do they even teach script anymore?), and my obsession with hand written notes throughout high school and college. While everyone brought their laptops, I still took all my notes with pen and paper. Something about it felt more real. From this history is how Pen and Script was born.

Turning a long loved hobby into a business has been my most gratifying and fulfilling decision yet. When I am not completing orders, I am still playing with pen and ink, and even iPad and Apple Pencil (welcome to the digital age!).
